Located in the idyllic canalside village of Marigny le Cahouet, and surrounded by Burgundian countryside and fields of grazing Charolais cattle, La Maison Lemoine is an intimate and enchanting escape.
We have loved bringing her back to life, preserving as much of her story and charm as we can. Her generous volumes have been carefully arranged to create a relaxed, free-flowing interior.
A uniquely characterful place for gatherings of friends or family, La Maison Lemoine has been elegantly decorated with noble materials, in perfect harmony with the location. Handmade paints, vintage furniture and creative touches make for a sustainable and beautiful space.
Set around a spacious courtyard, the property accommodates up to 21 people in her two independent spaces The Main House and The Grainstore.
Extensive private grounds and outbuildings provide loads of options for outdoor living. The property boasts its own wood-fired oven and a 9-metre x 5-metre private heated saltwater pool with a terrace: these are exclusively yours whether you book just the main house or the whole property.

The Main House
The Main House is a generous 250 square metre space that sleeps 15 over five en-suite double/twin rooms and one en-suite family room with bath.

The Grainstore
The Grainstore, an 80 square metre self-contained annexe with two en- suite bedrooms, a kitchen and a living room can sleep up to 6. This can be rented in addition to the house.

Our Sunday check-in day is deliberately designed to give you the freedom to choose the best route for you.
If you’re driving, Marigny Le Cahouet is between 5 and 6 hours from The Shuttle terminal and similarly from all major ferry ports on the northwest coast.
If you’re coming by train, then you can hop on the Eurostar in London and be with us mid-afternoon.
If you’re flying, our nearest airports are Paris Charles de Gaulle, Lyon and Geneva.
